Fleri Candle co.
Over the years, I spent too much money and time in stores looking for the right candle with the right scent for the right vibe. In August of 2021, I woke up one day and said ‘What if I just made my own candles’? My love for candles and helping the less fortunate gave me a great idea. So I began making candles, trying out different wicks and scents, and finally came up with the perfect portions. Along with making candles, I decided to donate 10% of my profits to Healing Haiti.
Healing Haiti is an organization based out of Minnesota. This non-profit organization focuses on reuniting Haitian families and breaking the cycle of poverty mainly in the Port-Au-Prince area. I chose Healing Haiti because of the mission trips I have been on with this organization. I have been to Haiti 3 different times and each time was a new and exciting experience. During our mission trips, we gave out clean water, visited families of the elderly, and visited Mother Theresa – Home for Sick and Dying Babies, which houses 80 babies who are malnourished, sick, or abandoned.
